Geography of Belonging (2022-2025)

Geography of Belonging explores the unstable sense of identity formed between Lithuania, where I was born, and Israel, where I live. Through photographic montage, architectural spaces and landscapes from these two places are brought together into imagined yet psychologically familiar environments. European buildings merge with deserts, cacti, orange groves and fragments of human presence, creating spaces in which memory and geography overlap. The project reflects on migration, cultural displacement and the attempt to belong simultaneously to two places, while at times feeling fully at home in neither.
